Our second festive 'Giving Story' involves a close friend of ours travelling to Jordan and Lebanon to visit Iraqi and Syrian refugees with the organisation 'Global Hope Network International' (GHNI).
The ten day trip gave an incredible opportunity for Emily to go and hear stories first hand, and learn from those working on the ground in the heart of the refugee crisis, starting in Jordan, Amman then travelling to Beirut and the Bekka Valley in Lebanon.

GHNI works closely with refugees offering practical and emotional support to those who have been displaced. They gave out much needed food and clothing during this trip to families who had lost everything when they fled their homes.

Emily took a batch of our i61 vintage t-shirts with her to offer as gifts to the children she met, which they loved! This small act made the children feel special, in addition to the practical aspect of having another new clean item of clothing.

GHNI and Emily gave the mother of the girl pictured above a food bag as she had been struggling to survive and pay for food after being displaced. As a divorced mother without her extended family around, life is particularly hard.
Thanks to your support we are able to donate and support amazing organisations like this, making a difference in people's lives and putting a smile on the face of children who have lost so much.
Every i61 order makes a difference as 10% all profits goes direct to those in vulnerable situations this Christmas.
